Easy Marinara Sauce with Meat

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1-2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp fround pepper
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 5-10 basil leaves, chiffonade
Instructions
  1. Brown meat with onions.
  2. In food processor, blend canned tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper.
  3. Once meat and onions have browned, add tomato mixture, wine, and chopped fresh tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 20 -30 min. Stir in basil and serve over pasta, zucchini noodles, or spaghetti squash.
