Cilantro Lime Rice

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Jasmine Rice (or Basmati)
  • 1 Tbsp Butter (or olive oil)
  • 2 cups water
  • ¼ cup Cilantro
  • 2 Tbsp Lime Juice or more to taste
  • Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Rinse rice through mesh strainer. Heat butter in saucepan over medium heat. When melted add rice and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add water and bring to boil. Cover and simmer on low for 15-18 minutes.
  3. Uncover and fluff with fork. Add in Cilantro, lime, and salt and toss to combine.
