Butter Basted Steak

Ingredients
  • 1-2 Steaks
  • Olive oil
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 Tbsp butter
Instructions
  1. Rub olive oil over steaks and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let stand on counter for 30 min.
  2. Add a tablespoon of oil to a cast iron skillet and heat over medium high heat.
  3. Add steak and and cook on one side for 4-5 minutes until bottom looks nice and seared.
  4. Flip steak. Add butter, rosemary, and garlic. Baste with the butter and herbs constantly for 5-7 minutes for medium rare.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 10 min.
